Quotas are scoped to successful decodes. Failed decodes (bad emojitext, cipher
not granted) do not burn quota. Webhook-driven reset on the first
invoice.paid of each billing cycle.
For publishers
Installing the EmDash plugin is free. Cryptolect splits subscription revenue with the publishers whose ciphers the agent decoded against — preliminary target is 50% to the publisher, 50% to Cryptolect, subject to validation before launch.
What's not in pricing
- No pay-per-request. That's
@emdash-cms/x402's market — a complementary product. Cryptolect is the membership layer. - No human-facing tier. Cryptolect sells access to agent operators. The cipher is the membership token, not a paywall.
- No exclusive content lock-in. Publishers retain the cipher; if Cryptolect goes away, the plaintext is one decode call away.
